Harlan County Christian School
Statement of Purpose
Harlan County Christian School was established in 1997 as a private, non-profit Christian School to assist the home and church in the joint responsibilities of training the child in a Christ-centered philosophy of life. The HCCS ideal embodies the training of good Christian citizens with emphasis on the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical development of every student. HCC admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
Harlan County Christian School is not only dedicated to high quality academic instruction, but also to the development of the spiritual dimension. We place an emphasis on our Bible and Chapel programs. Also, the teachers refer to God's Word frequently throughout the day. There is a distinct emphasis on patriotism and America's heritage of individual liberty under the Sovereignty of God.
